A Quick Summary of My Week.

Hello, my little Cherubs.

I thought I'd tell you about my week, because I have nowt else to say, but love you guys enough to update.

Monday; I don't think anything happened on Monday, but hey, I could be wrong, so I'll go through the day with you, please excuse my thinking-whilst-typing. Let's see...history, first lesson. History lessons with Mr.Merrity are my favourite, next to English. I've learnt a lot more this year than any other year, and his lessons are always fun/hilarious. I really wanted to take history, but I didn't have enough space. I'm regretting taking Spanish now, when I could have taken something I enjoy so much more. Anyway, let's skip through the details of that lesson (which involved 'Tales From The Work Experience of 15-Year-Old Mr.Merrity), skip through Spanish...RE! Ahh, we had Mr.Wallace! Now, if you don't go to my school, you won't get why this lesson was so great. Mr.Wallace is like this...I don't know whether to call him insane or not, but everybody kind of has this mood whenever we have him for a sub, so the lesson is just automatically great. Also, he looks like Colonel Sanders. Last two lessons where...err...umm...maths and PE? Maths was in the computer room, and PE...OH YEAH, I WAS ACTUALLY ALRIGHT AT ROUNDERS. /Happiness

Tuesday; Possibley my favourite day of the week. I don't enjoy maths, but I am quite good at it, so it's easy, just boring. English, my all-time favourite lesson, was second period. We were finishing our Super Hero project things, which was fun. Science was okay, it's one of my favourite lessons too. In DT (which takes up the last two periods), I finished my clock, and I'm super proud because it works, and turned out better than I expected, and I'm usually horrid at DT.

Wednesday Ahh, X-Week Wednesday, why must you be the same length as the rest of the days? Why can you not be just like your brother, Y-Week Wednesday? Who only includes 4 lessons? -Sigh- PSE was boring, as per usual. English was alright, we were presenting our Super Hero films ideas/script/etc. I kind of flipped out on Daniel after the lesson and wasn't speaking to him for the rest of the day...we're alright now, but I do not like working with people who do not give it their all in English, because this is the lesson I'm best at, the lesson I enjoy most, and I refuse to get marks lower than what I usually would because of other people. Still, sorry Danny. In Geography we marked our tests, in which I got 67/70. I would've gotten 70, right, except for one question, I ticked the right box, scribbled it out and ticked another one, and on the last question (a poster), I was honest and gave myself 4 marks rather than 6. Careers was watching a video, and RE was a test. Bleh.

Thursday Possibley my favourite day this week. History with Mr.Collier (on X-Weeks, Thursday P1 we have Mr.Collier for history, on Y-Weeks, Thursday P1, we have geography) is always hilarious. I didn't do any work because I finished it last week. I did draw some butter, sugar, and a steam train (which I didn't turn into the Hogwarts Express at all...). IT, which is usually my whole IT classes least favourite lesson, was great. I helped my friend Dominic finish his work because I'd already finished, which took like 10 minutes, and then spent the rest of the lesson looking at clothes/playing games. Spanish was planning our essays which we're doing instead of a writing test, and then Science. We were disecting a heart. When sir was demonstrating, I felt slightly sick. Adam said he'd do the whole of it, but abandoned me after cutting one side and I had to do the whole thing by myself. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, even if it smelt. I'm still really against killing animals for what we want as humans, though. I wish my parents would let me be a vegetarian, but I'm a little too skinny for their liking. In English, we read the poem Nothing's Changed by Tatamkhulu Africa, which is an amazing poem and you should all go and read it. We discussed what it was about, where it was set, etc. Then we started watching the film 'Cry Freedom', which is actually pretty good, but we're only like half an hour in. Also, at dinner today, we held a suprise party for Lizzie in the music block, which was great, especially the part with the cake. I love my friends.

Friday Today, today, today. Art was great. I'm glad I picked it for my options, I adore it. Music was a little frustrating; knowing that performing 'Danny Boy', and getting my final mark which I need to be great to make up for the sucky first mark I got this year (because of one bloody mistake! Seriously, my teacher must hate me, one lad messed up on every other line and still got a 1! I got a 3 because I played an extra D! WTF?!), was so close, I kept messing up, but I had it flattened out by the end of the lesson. Maths was on the computers again, PE was shot put (I only got 5.2 metres...), and science was about the nervous system.

You know, you know my whole school week now. I got bored like half way through this, by the way.
Oh! I also had a strange dream this week, involving my friend Alex, and his friend Michael, who I haven't spoken to for weeks. Weird.

I can't believe you read this all the way through.

  1. Part of me can't believe that I read the whole thing either...I don't feel as though my brain is working well enough for that to have happened. But it did

    =D

I am exactly the same in English - we're doing presentations in a couple of weeks and I've put myself in charge of my group and set them all homework. They think I'm a slavedriver, but they'll thank me when we beat everyone else into the ground.

And I'm not competitive at all...

    Love your blog as always
